With reference to your letter of the 7th January, Adry c/58126/25, I am directed by the Board of Trade to
state that Captain F.W. Bate and Mr. H. Leak will
represent them at the Interdepartmental Conference to
discuss certain matters relating to the prevention of
piracy in waters adjacent to Hong Kong, at 3 p.m. on
Wednesday next.
A copy of the Report on certain experiments
with automatic wireless apparatus is enclosed, and
the Board's representatives will be in a position te
inform the Conference how this matter stands.
